This front-hook vest is a derivative of the hook jacket, which has consistently been a popular item in the gène par YUKIO MISHIBA collection.
Made with 60-count, pre-dyed linen. The linen yarn, pre-dyed by hand using a traditional method (dyeing the yarn before weaving, not the fabric), is woven using a dobby weave, resulting in a finer pattern than a jacquard weave. While appearing plain at first glance, lacking the color variations of a striped fabric, this is a highly unique textile characterized by the delicate weave inherent to the linen. The refreshing feel and texture unique to linen are fully appreciated, and its lightweight, single-layer construction makes it comfortable to wear even in summer.
The medium length is neither too short nor too long, and the back panel features a center vent.
