A long-length, jersey-knit top made with plating fabric.
Plating, also known as "double-sided knitting," is a special technique of jersey knitting that involves drawing in two threads simultaneously while knitting. The resulting knit fabric has the threads separated into front and back, and by using a rare, old-fashioned flatbed knitting machine to knit slowly and meticulously with ultra-high density, skilled craftsmen can achieve a tough knit fabric with high strength and shape retention, while maintaining the meaty texture and feel of the original cotton.
This single-layered long jacket features details such as slanted buttonholes and welt pockets, offering a comfortable, cardigan-like feel and a slim, well-defined silhouette.
By adopting an ergonomic, three-dimensional pattern that is evident in the curved arm shape and the cross-shaped stitching on the back, we create a comfortable fit that feels like it's part of your body, while maintaining a clean, slim silhouette and a nicely casual, relaxed feel.
