A cut-and-sew blouson made with plating jersey fabric.
Plating, also known as "double-sided knitting," is a special technique of jersey knitting that involves drawing in two threads simultaneously while knitting. The resulting knit fabric has the threads separated into front and back, and by using a rare, old-fashioned flatbed knitting machine to knit slowly and meticulously with ultra-high density, skilled craftsmen can achieve a tough knit fabric with high strength and shape retention, while maintaining the meaty texture and feel of the original cotton.
A single-piece leather biker jacket featuring an off-center curved zipper and a high collar that opens asymmetrically.
By adopting an ergonomic, three-dimensional pattern that is evident in the curved arm shape and the cross-shaped stitching on the back, we create a comfortable fit that feels like it's part of your body, while maintaining a clean, slim silhouette and a nicely casual, relaxed feel.
The stitching is an overlock stitch, an iconic design of gène par YUKIO MISHIBA, and is finished with a special stitch that creates a raised thread pattern for an eye-catching effect. It uses YKK's "EXCELLA" zipper elements.
