YUJI SUGENO's sarrouel skinny denim pants have been revised and improved with each release, with changes made to the material and pattern.
This "Re-Designed" new piece features a hybrid black denim that has been given a one wash. While retaining the excellent stretch and deep black color of the denim material, it has a soft and supple texture.
While maintaining the characteristic silhouette, the new model emphasizes a deeper crotch than the conventional model, with a larger (longer) setting from the lower part of the fly to the crotch seam. In contrast, the depth of the crotch panel sandwiched between the front and back panels in the crotch area is shallower. By using a stretch rib in the same black color for this shallower panel, the load on the crotch is reduced, maintaining sufficient range of motion.
While eliminating the consistent three-dimensional pleats at the knees, the design incorporates high functionality and aesthetics that take advantage of the material's characteristics.
The deep rise and tight fit from the crotch to below the knees create a well-defined leg line. The edgy silhouette is designed to highlight individuality without compromising the clean, slender balance.
All production processes are carried out in Kojima, Okayama, where is known as the birthplace of Japanese jeans.
